Hi, I'm Ed. Welcome to Ed Feely's breathing space. Today, we're trying a brand-new breathing method I created. I call it Dual Flow Combo Breathwork. This unique breathing combo helps you let go of worries and enter a flow state. Practice daily to carry this wonderful, relaxed feeling into everyday life. Before we begin, here's today's quick tip: a technique to release stress in two minutes.

It's called the physiological sigh. In English, that's "physiological sigh." It's a naturally occurring breathing pattern. Research shows it can quickly lower stress hormones. When we feel stressed or anxious, we often do it without realizing. It can quickly ease tension in the body and mind. Here's how:

Take two quick inhales in a row, followed by a longer exhale. First, breathe in deeply. Without breathing out, breathe in deeply again. Then exhale slowly and deeply. This helps reinflate the air sacs in your lungs, triggering the body's relaxation response.

It looks like this.

When should we use it? Whenever you feel stressed or anxious, pause for a minute or two of physiological sighs. You can also make it part of your daily routine to help regulate your emotions and support your overall well-being. All right. That's our quick tip.

Now let me introduce the new style we'll learn today. It's called Dual Flow. We combine two different breathing styles, alternating between them. The inhales and exhales create a pleasing rhythm. Power-Up and Evolution Dual Flow. In through your nose, out through your mouth.

Power-Up first, then Evolution. Like this. Next is Power-Up and Reverse Evolution Dual Flow. Start with Power-Up, then reverse the Evolution pattern. Like this. All right. It's that simple.

Listen and follow my breathing sounds. Let's begin. Round 1 Power-Up and Evolution Dual Flow. Power-Up first, then Evolution. Breathe in through your nose. Exhale through your mouth. Keep feeling the breath inside your body.
