Hi, I'm Ed. Welcome to Ed Feely's breathing space. Today, we'll try an original breathing method—the first of its kind. I call it Dual Flow Combo Breathwork. This unique breathing combo helps you let go of worries and enter a flow state. Practice daily to bring this wonderful, comfortable state into everyday life. Before we begin, let me share a quick daily tip. Morning sunlight is the best sleep aid for nighttime.
Getting sunlight early in the morning really matters. It helps set your body's internal clock, regulating sleep, mood, and hormone balance. This has a major impact on physical and mental well-being. Here's how: within the first hour after waking, let natural sunlight reach your eyes. This can help regulate melatonin production and improve your sleep at night.
It helps synchronize your internal clock with the natural cycle of day and night. This can improve sleep quality, mood, energy levels, and even metabolism. Getting morning sunlight regularly can help us sleep better at night.
It can also improve our mood and boost our energy each day. It may even help regulate appetite hormones, bringing positive benefits that make weight loss more effective. If you'd like to make this simple tip part of your daily routine, here's what to do.
Try to get outside within 30 minutes of waking and spend some time in natural sunlight. If you can't get sunlight outdoors, sitting by a sunlit window is another option. Okay. That's today's quick tip. Now, let me introduce the new style we'll learn today.
Today's style is called Dual Flow. It combines two different breathing styles, alternating between them. Your inhales and exhales create a pleasing rhythm. Energize–Evolve Dual Flow. Breathe in through your nose, out through your mouth. First Energize, then Evolve. Like this.
Next is Energize–Reverse Evolve Dual Flow. First Energize, then Reverse Evolve. Like this. Okay. It's that simple. Listen and follow the sound of my breathing. Let's begin.
Round one. Energize–Purify Dual Flow. First Energize, then Purify. Breathe in through your nose. Breathe out through your mouth. Keep following the sensations of breathing inside your body. Let your chest expand forward. Breathe with your whole body.
Each breath brings you closer to inner peace.
Energize–Reverse Evolve. First Energize, then Reverse Evolve. Starting to feel the rhythm? Are you breathing, or is the whole space breathing? Five. Four. Three. Two.
One. Breathe in deeply. Hold. It's okay if you feel a little dizzy.
Five. Four. Three. Two. One. Exhale fully. Hold. Let your lips lift into a gentle smile.
As you hold your breath, keep scanning for any tension. Keep letting it go. Let your whole body relax. Treat thoughts just like tension in your body. Simply soften and let them go. It's the same process. Five, four, three, two, one.
Breathe in deeply. Hold. Five, four, three, two, one. Breathe out. That completes this round. Three. Two. One.
Round two. First Energize, then Evolve.
Are you breathing, or is all the air around you breathing? Five.
Four. Three. Two. One. Breathe in deeply. Hold. It's okay if you feel a little dizzy.
