Hi, I'm Ed. Welcome to Ed Feely's Breathing Space. Today we'll practice dual-flow breathing for beginners. It's simple, yet just as effective as faster breathing techniques. You can quickly feel the benefits—and feel great. Today we'll do Iceman dual-flow breathing at half speed, followed by circular breathing at normal speed. Wim Hof, the Iceman, has said it himself: Slow breathing with complete relaxation,

combined with focus, gives the best results. Here's how Iceman dual-flow breathing works: Start with Iceman breathing, then cleansing breathing, then back to Iceman breathing, followed by reverse cleansing breathing. For Iceman breathing,

make an O with your mouth. Breathe in and out through your mouth. For cleansing breathing, breathe in in two parts, then exhale in one. There's also reverse cleansing breathing: Breathe in in one part, then exhale in two.

Here's how to do it. It sounds like this. Okay. Before we begin, please do me a favor. After the session, subscribe and hit like, then leave a comment below.

Which breathing style do you like best? And on a scale of one to ten, how much does breathwork help you relieve stress? Okay. Let's begin. Round 1.

Iceman cleansing dual-flow. Make an O with your mouth. Breathe in and out through your mouth. With every exhale, exhale fully. Breathe into both sides of your body. Let your chest expand forward.

Let your whole body breathe. Don't restrict any part of your body.

Two. One. Iceman reverse cleansing. As you exhale in two parts, feel all the air squeeze out of your lungs. Feel your whole body soften and relax as you breathe. The more you focus, the better it feels. Breathe with your whole body, and stay relaxed.

Two. One. Circular breathing. Breathe in fully. Exhale fully. Keep going! Five. Four. Three.

Two. One. Breathe in deeply. Hold. Five. Four. Three. Two.

One. Exhale fully. Hold. Let your lips curl into a gentle smile. Scan your body for tension. Aim to relax your whole body completely. If you can't hold any longer, take a small breath in.

Exhale, then hold again. The more relaxed you are, the better the results. If thoughts arise, let them go and return to the sensations in your body. Five, four, three, two, one. That's the end of this round. Round 2.
