Yo! I'm Ed. Today I'll teach you a powerful breathing technique that's perfect for mornings. It's called Sun Breathing. It's a breathing practice from India's yoga tradition. It activates your body's yang energy, helping you feel more energized and motivated. It's simple: gently close your left nostril with your right ring finger. Breathe in deeply through your right nostril. Feel the breath fill your belly, chest, then head.
Next, gently close your right nostril with your right thumb. Exhale through your left nostril. Feel yourself breathing out fatigue and stress. We'll start this sequence with energizing breathwork. Breathe in and out through your nose. Then we'll move on to Sun Breathing. Let's get ready. Find a safe, comfortable place to sit.
Close your eyes. You can sit or lie down. The key is to stay relaxed as you breathe. And stay focused. The more focused you are, the higher your dopamine. And the better you'll feel. Let's begin. Energizing breathwork.
Breathe in and out through your nose. Don't pause between breaths.
Relax your face, eyes, and mouth. Breathe into both sides of your body. Relax your belly, chest, neck, and head as you breathe. Imagine your body as a container. Feel the air circulating inside.
